Reporting
Reporting is where your collected emails come together. It gives you a clear view of every message Email Collector has captured — both the live emails you forward and the ones you import — so you can spot trends and read individual feedback without leaving the platform.
Two charts at the top show the big picture, and a table below lets you work through messages one by one.
Explore the charts
Distribution by source
A pie chart splits your emails by how they arrived — ingested (forwarded) versus imported — so you can see the mix at a glance.
Volume over time
A line chart tracks how many emails came in over time, broken down by source, so you can watch activity rise and fall.
Set the time range
Choose Last 7 days (the default), Last 30 days or Last 3 months. The range applies to the charts and the table together.
Work through the table
Below the charts, a table lists every collected email in the selected range:
- Sender — who the message came from
- Subject — the email's subject line
- Body preview — a short snippet, with a Preview button that safely opens the full body
- Date — when the email was sent (sortable)
- Received At — when it was stored on the platform (sortable)
- Actions — open Details for the full message and system metadata, or Delete to remove it
The table shows 25 emails per page, with Previous and Next to move between pages. When there are no emails in the chosen range, a friendly empty state appears instead.
Date vs Received At
Date is when the email was originally sent. Received At is when it landed in the platform. These can differ — a forwarded email might arrive after a short delivery delay, and imported emails are stored long after they were sent. Sorting by either helps you find what you're looking for.
Deleting is reversible-friendly but permanent here
Deleting asks you to confirm first, then performs a soft delete — the email is removed from your Reporting view. Double-check before confirming so you don't hide feedback you still need.
