Checking a link before you open it
A short link hides its destination — that's the whole point of it, but it also means you can't tell where https://e-sat.ly/4kQm2 goes just by looking. The Link Checker closes that gap: paste any e-sat.ly link and it shows you the real address the link leads to, so you can decide whether to open it.
It's getting harder to tell a trustworthy message from spam, and a link you didn't expect is worth a second look. If you've received an e-sat.ly link and you're not sure about it, this is the safe way to see where it points without opening it.
Where to find it
The Link Checker lives on the public e-sat.ly address — the same place the short links themselves live — at e-sat.ly/link-checker. There's a link to it in the footer of every e-sat.ly page.
Like the short links, it needs no sign-in and isn't part of the console. Anyone who receives a link can use it, whether or not they have an e-satisfaction account.
Only e-sat.ly links
The checker only reveals the destination of e-sat.ly links — the ones that look like e-sat.ly/4kQm2. It won't follow a link from another shortener. If you paste something that isn't an e-sat.ly link, it will tell you so.
How to check a link
Open the checker
Go to e-sat.ly/link-checker in your browser.
Paste the link
Paste the e-sat.ly link you want to check. You can paste the whole link (https://e-sat.ly/4kQm2), just e-sat.ly/4kQm2, or only the code at the end (4kQm2) — any of them work.
Select Check link
The checker looks the link up and shows you where it leads.
What you'll see
Depending on the link, the checker shows one of the following:
- Where the link leads — for a working link, it shows the destination: the site it opens (for example
collection.e-satisfaction.com) and the full address underneath. A Continue to destination button opens that address in a new tab if you decide it's safe. - The link has expired — the link exists but was switched off with an expiry, so it no longer points anywhere.
- No such link — there's no link with that code. It may have been mistyped, removed, or never existed.
You decide whether to continue
The checker tells you where a link goes, not whether the destination is safe. Only continue to a destination that looks like somewhere you expected to go — a short link can point anywhere.
Checking a link never counts as a click
Looking a link up in the checker is not the same as opening it. It doesn't record a click, so checking a campaign link never inflates its numbers in Clicks & analytics — you can check as often as you like.
