Password & recovery
Your password protects your account across the whole suite, so it's worth keeping it strong and recoverable. If you've forgotten it, you can reset it yourself in a couple of minutes using a recovery code we send to your email. If you simply want to update it, you can change it from your security settings.
Resetting a forgotten password
If you can't sign in, don't worry — you don't need anyone's help to get back in. We'll email you a single-use, time-limited recovery code, and you'll use it to set a new password.
Start the reset
On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot your password?
Enter your email
Type the email address for your account and submit. If that address is registered, we'll send a recovery code to it.
Check your inbox
Open the email and note the recovery code. It can only be used once and expires after a short time, so use it promptly.
Set a new password
On the Reset your password page, enter your email, the recovery code, and a new password of at least 8 characters. Submit, and you can sign in right away with the new password.
Changing your password while signed in
If you already know your password and just want to update it, head to Account security. You'll enter your current password, then a new one with help from a strength indicator, and confirm it. The change takes effect immediately.
We never reveal whether an email is registered
For your protection, the reset screen shows the same confirmation message whether or not an email is on file. This keeps anyone from using the reset form to discover which addresses have accounts — so if your code doesn't arrive, double-check the address and your spam folder.
