Configuration
Configuration is where you connect the practical services that make your surveys run day to day. It covers three things: the messaging providers that actually deliver your invitations, the URL shorteners that keep the links inside those messages tidy, and the CX Badge you can put on your website to show off your ratings. You set these up once and adjust them as your needs change. Admin only
These settings sit underneath everything else you build in e-satisfaction. Your messaging pipelines and the dispatch queue lean on the providers you configure here, so it's worth getting them in place early.

Messaging providers
Messaging providers are the email, SMS and Viber services that deliver your survey invitations (and other messages) to your customers. You can bring your own provider — like SMTP, Mailgun, Apifon or Infobip — or, if you don't have one, use e-satisfaction's own email and SMS service, which comes as part of your plan. Providers are created across every workspace in your organization, and you can send a test to confirm everything works before you go live.
URL shorteners
URL shorteners keep the links in your SMS and Viber messages short. A shorter link means a message takes up fewer segments, which keeps your sending costs down. Every workspace uses the built-in e-sat.ly shortener automatically, with no setup — and you can connect a custom provider like bit.ly or Firebase Dynamic Links on the workspaces where you want branded links.
CX Badge
The CX Badge is an embeddable widget that shows your customer-experience score and recent comments live on your website, calculated over the last 12 months. You set the layout for your whole organization, choose which metrics each workspace displays, then copy a small snippet into your site to embed it.
Set providers up first
If you're just getting started, configure a messaging provider before anything else — it's what every survey invitation needs to reach your customers. The URL shortener and CX Badge can wait until you're sending.
